People expect ep 189's level of animation in every fight and that's impossible especially for a long anime

For those saying that naruto is nerfed, do you watch the episode with your eyes closed? Both of naruto and delta were literally saying that he was faking being at a disadvantage just to get intel. Delta called him a trickster once again later on because he was going easy on her
kawaki also said that it's as if Naruto is just dancing and he has the upper hand. He is directing delta away from the kids, blocking her attacks and trying to find the chance to land a jutsu at the same time
He's also trying not to kill her to extract intel from her after the fight

The fight was just bad, bad coregraphy, weak animation. If you want some reference for why i'm saying this, just look at episode 65 of this show. Hand-to-hand battle was just extremly bad. Kawaki defending naruto and himawari after delta used hima as bait was such an cliche. Overall an bad episode, i still hope that it was like this just because it was the start of the fight, but if this will continue like this..i dunno, like it was already bad since 80% of this show is filler, but c'mon now..even the manga canon episodes? I bet this episode was way better in the manga.

They made a situation where naruto cant use jutsu ( which just lowers the fight level ) and then we get the thing that kawaki , boruto and hima are beside him. Which ik for sure might be slowing him down a little. Its like we know naruto is too op so lets just nerf him a ton. Second naruto fight in boruto. Ngl momoshiki one was a lot better.

There are right now 2 solutions either go the dragonball route and upgrade the bad side massively or sacrifice the god level shinobis in a fight like netero vs neruem in hxh. Back in og naruto minato died before the story begins, sarutobi got handled by orochimaru and left was the sannin and some jonin level shinobis against guys like itachi and kisame. You actually felt they were a real threat. Jigen and kashin koji are currently the only characters that could end up a problem and i know there is gonna be some guy from momoshikis clan but still..
My preferred route would just be sacrificing some characters which is not gonna happen for merchandise reasons.

I’ve actually been enjoying Boruto lately but it seemed like Naruto was simply playing around and not taking Delta seriously although she is clearly a threat to his children and Kawaki. There's no consistency or logic anymore. The tone is Sesame Street. This is the problem with Boruto as a whole. Naruto and Sasuke are god level shinobi. Literally nobody should be able to touch them. Period. Otsutsuki are the only ones who can be a threat to them. They shouldn't be included in fights of this level because it just makes everything seem beyond stupid and drags past Naruto into the dirt.

Most of the powerful people in the verse are dead. Delta and all the Kara guys are D-tier Akatsuki rejects. They're trying so hard to make them seem like anything but that. This random lady who doesn't even seem to be a shinobi can best adult KCM Naruto? She has never heard of Naruto, the legendary hero who saved the entire world and believes she can kill him. Well, okay then. She flies around with rocket boosters, sends out drones, and shoots laser beams like goddamn Iron Man. Can't forget the jutsu absorption, which is a Rinnegan level technique. Lava-style Rasenshuriken is just a breeze of wind to her and she just so happens to have an attack that can null regeneration and turn Naruto to dust? She tries to kill Himawari and Naruto still doesn't do anything? He doesn't use a single shadow clone to get the kids away? Fine, Naruto doesn't kill her and end the fight instantly because he wants information. Naruto at this point has to be much faster than Minato ever was. He should be blitzing and teleporting like nobody's business. Why not just knock her out and interrogate later? Why is she even damaging him at all? First time when he got stabbed he wanted to see if Delta would lower her guard. Okay, but every time after that too? The chosen one who went toe to toe with Juubi Madara, Obito, and Kaguya just lets Delta literally step on him. Naruto with his ocean deep arsenal and godlike powers is such a pushover now that he needs an angsty Hot Topic kid to protect him from the disintegration laser. Naruto's just gonna let the kid take that kind of hit so we can feel sympathetic for this new character? He was just gonna let himself and his daughter die? This is ridiculously forced and lame. This is shit writing plain and simple.
