Not recounting rewatches of anime I already liked, my favorite anime that I've newly watched while immersing were probably the Demon Slayer movie, Madoka Magika, and Takagi-san (these were anime I was able to understand pretty well as well so that biases me a bit). Also this season Fumetsu no Anata e is pretty great

I had a good time immersing with Inuyashiki. The Japanese was surprisingly easy considering how adult oriented it is (with all the graphic themes/content).

Tenchi muyou! Ryo-Ohki OVA

- Nice and short just 6 episodes, great for someone with a poor attention span
- Beautiful 90s animation
- Good mix of silly harem stuff and decent action
- Very simple dialogue you will find plenty of i+1 sentences here

I quite like this show.
