It happens over and over again. They think that circumstances will play out exactly as they do in games. I know that you’re in another world and it’s a sensory overload, but at least try to separate what was previously fiction from the current reality.

Example: episode 2, Tomoa tells Makoto that the spider ran away after she hurt it. And our MC translated that to,

“So it’s like a game event, all I have to do is damage it enough for it to leave”

No. The spider didn’t leave when Shen damaged her because a developer programmed her to, it left because Shen hurt it and it wanted to escape.

that was just a punch line thought , like we all think or say in real life too as a joke or we compare our situation to some thing else like a movie , game or anime.....

Strongly agree. Would it really kill all those non-authors churning out LNs to just shut up about video games for one goddamn second? Feels like it's just for brownie points from the lowest denominator of audience.
Well I for one already loved Lain.

Okay, don't watch Isekais then. 90% of them are crap and everyone knows it.

It doesn't bother me so much, but some other things do. Like there will be some life of death situation where people are DEFINITELY getting hurt and someone could die(certain ones) and the MC is either turning his back to the threat, still making jokes or just being stupid. Joke all you want during the regular times but not in a horrible violent situation. But seriously I love Isekai so much, more so fantasy world ones than Video Game ones but I still love most of them. Don't understand the hate on the genre though, if you don't like it why do you watch and trash it?

I agree this is getting overdone. Also including the concept of their being an overpowered mc and then go on to call it a cheat really is getting overdone as well.

Yeah, comparing to the game is stupid.

Even the opening from the first episode is stupid. Saying Isekai should have a harem, events and memorable adventures is not funny. We all know Konosuba, Overlord, Re Zero, Shield Hero, Tanya, Log Horizon, Slime and none of them have anything related to game events. Again, games don't do Isekai, I have played Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and many RPGs and they don't do one-way world.

Yeah some games have characters go to another world but they can always go back to their world, for example, games like Shin Megami Tensei.

(Minor notes) the humor in Tsuki sucks. Their are replicating the humor in Konosuba but worse. The first scene is enough to throw me off

Wouldn't that line just be parodying Isekai?

I mean, he already met an Earth deity, a secret aspect of his personal history has now been uncovered, he met a goddess in the other world, for all intents and purposes he knows it's not a game (or "just like that isekai show" - if it were he'd just straight up call her an orc and not a pig wearing clothes; orcs seem to be depicted as hog/warthog humanoids in Japan, which would be closer to what we call "gnolls").

I just think MC acts normally then think it just like game, it's common. To be honest, I don't really like this kind of Isekai but anyway the plot is enjoyable and funny enough for me. Also i can smell this show has some potentials later.

The world building and conflict there aren't that too hard from beginning until later just like many isekai i have watched before.

you're on MAL what did you expect? These guys love to take one aspect of a show they don't like and write an entire review centered around it like that's everything that encompasses the show and run with it completely ignoring everything that the show does right.

watch anime of diff genre
that way , it won't feel repetitive
if you watch only isekai anime and read isekai manga+LN > only then you would say such
it's like saying "I am eating rice for 10 years , why does it taste so bland ; lets write a shit post on mal about rice"

Well it's isekai. A good amount of the authors try to appeal to the gamer audience. It's also a known tactic to evade toiling behind actual world-building. Much as the usual medieval European style human v demons format is overused, it's natural they acknowledge it themselves that this is nothing new.
"All truth is meaningless. In the end, 'meaning' comes from the mind of each individual human. Even when there is a single truth, it can mean different things to different individuals. The truth has no meaning in itself!" - Erika Furudo
