| Each episode reaches higher levels of wholesomeness than the previous one; that's marvelous. Getting to see so much of young Bocchan and Alice was great, and knowing that Rob cares for both of them almost as if they were his relatives warms my heart. Although it makes me sad that Alice and Bocchan might not be able to be together if the curse is broken. |
| Felt like there was an awful lot of foreboding in this episode and it's making me nervous cause there are only 2 eps left... Screw Bocchan's family & their reputation - Alice has been by Bocchan's side during his darkest times. His family doesn't deserve to have such a kind and loving boy back after casting him aside; the least they could do is let him and Alice be together! |

| Wait, was Bocchan's father in love with Alice's mother? But because of them being noble and servant, their love never bloomed? That would explain why Rob talked about "fate" in the sense of correcting a past action. Uhm... Anyways, another excellent episode. Super heartwarming for moments and I gotta say the classic drama of forbidden love between duke and maid was handled quite nicely. The same goes for Rob's brief segment and finally, the duet song is easily among the sweetest scenes this show has. |
| What the heck was up with the lyrics, why did they omit the cat from the Pussy cat π€£ to think that's a nursery rhyme...... Anyway, the lyrics aside, it was beautiful to see Alice and Bocchan having their wholesome moment. |
| Previously in a short flashback loli Alice and shota Bocchan were 2D, I thought they were drawn that way to resources by not creating new 3D models. But in this episode they made 3D loli Arisu and other characters including her mom. But in the same episode certain characters like Alice's aunt and the kid Cuff ran into were 2D, standing alongside the 3D polygonal models. This isn't a nitpick, I just thought it was a strange choice. Younger Rob looks like Big Boss. Finally the anime addresses my primary concern. It looks like Bocchan is ready to cut his ties with his family if they don't accept his maid as his bride. WhAt a SiMp. We got more insight into both Alice and Rob. Great, they're not cardboard cutout characters. This came a bit late but I appreciate it came at all. This anime gets better and better. That insert song duet was gold. The anime already gives me some Disney movie like fairy tale vibes (but more ero) and these songs make it feel like it even better. |
| Seems like the last two episodes will be about Alice thinking that she can't be with him because of her status. And he'll convince her of the opposite, I'm sure. |

| I think it's pretty clear that Bocchan and his family are petty aristocrats. If his father held any actual titles Bocchan would have already inherited them regardless of what his mother thinks or the existence of his curse. I also haven't seen any evidence of his family running a government which would be required ESPECIALLY if they held a duchy title which is the highest title you can hold without being royalty. It appears his family is just rich it's unclear how or why as of yet. For a while I thought his family actually held a duchy title because of the anime name and most episodes being titled "The Duke" but I think that's just a misnomer. This explains why his mother seems to have so much power in the family. If they held any titles his mother would have absolutely no say over who inherits the titles or leads the family. Anyway, very interesting episode. 5/5 |
