| exactly my reaction, black rock shooter was the shit but I thought the franchise is long dead and buried I just hope they will make an original story and not continue the tv anime which had a lot of bullshit |

I would say watch the 2012 anime just to be safe (it's only 8 episodes), but of course you don't have to if you don't want to.
