Thoughts on the Dub

I plan on watching this show in the future. I've compared the sub and dub, and I'm most likely going with the sub (even though I'm a dub fan). So, what were your thoughts on the dub? Did you like it? Would you recommend it?

It was actually the first version I'd seen before I got to the sub. It strays off the original here and there but on the whole I enjoyed the dub and the English op too.

Anyone does know where to watch the sub or dub in english? I'd also plan to watch this in the future.

I liked the dub. I found it a funny choice to give them what sounded like British accents, but it was fun. I thought it would be better to watch it in English dub since they are meant to be English speaking characters.

I'm not sure how period appropriate the accents are for that specific region, but I feel it gives the Victorian Era setting a bit more believability and brings it together with a nice regal sheen. It makes the show feel older and undeniably more western than the sub so I appreciate that fact. I think it perhaps necessary for a show based on a book from the early 20th century to have a "grander English" to it. I think it works very well.
