Honestly, if Netflix adapt overseas source materials and bring it to anime studios, they will much be appreciated by the anime community. Since, they're the only ones capable of doing this.

Whether you enjoyed this show or not, you gotta agree that we need more animes like this. It's just a breathe of fresh air especially if you've been watching for a long time.

I don't know if it was a faithful adaptation or not , but this superhero genre is becoming more cringe than it was before..
I honestly pray they don't adapt more like this unless it has actual story not written by some repressed teens

Invincible was a masterpiece, the adaptation really improved the story and added a lot of depth to it, this one was just a rushed mess, or i assume its rushed, i dont want to believe the original work have such a terrible peacing,

Ewww, no thanks. I'd like to see Japan spend their resources working on their own stuff. Western bollocks animated by Japanese studios is still Western bollocks, just with nice frosting.

In my experience, single-season adaptions like this tend to feel rushed because they have to cut content from the manga to make everything fit into the limited episodes they were green lit for. Karneval and No Game No Life are like this too.

Dude this one was 4-issue mini. FOUR ISSUES. What are you on. If anything, it expanded on story and characters, because you can't stretch 4 chapters into 13 episodes show and make it so damn entertaining.

Then they shouldnt had made 13 episodes ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Look at cyberpunk for example, it had less than 12 and it was one of the best animes of the year[/font]

Yeaaaaaah maybe read the actual comic in question and then come back to this topic. You are debating about something you have 0 knowledge about.

You are sooooo antagonistic towards the series like its killed your family and dog, while it's being pretty, pretty solid.
Cyberpunk? And what about it? It didn't even have any comic or manga to go from, the story was written from the getgo while using game world as inspiration. Why the same couldn't be done with Super Crooks/Jupiters Legacy? :/ While in comic book characters lack any personality and it's just an edgy shitshow, anime does a pretty good job on expanding the story and giving depth to the characters.

I would understand if the story felt like fillers (like Netflix' Jessica Jones or Walking Dead or anything like that when the story doesn't move at all)- can't see it there. At all. Again- you not liking it has nothing to do with its length OR source material. It's just not for you. And it's totally okay. But you chose pretty weak and weird arguments, I am telling you that.
