Will Volume 9 be the last volume?

i haven't read the manga quite yet, and i don't want spoilers actually but what i felt at last chapter 50 was that ending line sketch so it came to my mind what if that gonna be the last chapter? does anyone knows about it?

Chapters 51 and 52 (which is sometimes mislabeled as Ch 53?) have been out for a while now. It seems to me like the series was axed before getting a proper ending. If anyone knows anything more I'd love to know too

As far as I know its an indefinite hiatus, when I asked the artist he didn't reply about it ever coming back and gave more so a "sad face" kinda response iirc, been a while so I don't recall it down to the T.
