| Danblf in Mira's body getting very pampered by dear old friend King Solomon to be more like a maid, what a transformation. The real issue at hand stems from their game of a war-ceasing, peace-loving pact, and while everyone seems to be online, the main quest to find the 9 Wise Men of Alcait begins to stop the fact from ceasing, leading yet to another bloodbath. Everything has been prepared, so Mira is the only factor to get things going...zombies a-lurking and adventurers an-adventuring. The road to the dungeon Nebrapolis involves a young boy by the name of Tact to find his parents whom might be dead, and the Mirror of Darkness in the dungeon can show the truth. And since Mira has a lot of time on her hands, she took on this side quest with other adventurers whom form the guild Ecarlate Carillon (of elf Emella, warrior Asval, loli-loving magician Flicker and swordsman Zef). Each one of them has their attributes, while Mira goes full OP by summoning her Valkyrie spirit Alfina to clear the dungeon's minion ghouls for an open path. The Mirror of Darkness, they thought it doesn't work, but when Zef stepped up to the mirror to call out his disease-stricken young sister Lyrica, it was a miracle only on a two-way communication device between the living and the dead. What a cliché for emotionalism. Turns out that people whom died or went missing within 5 years are only recorded there, so Tact's parents may be alive somewhere. Solomon is stacking quest upon quest in regards to Mira for asking her to help him do stuff, it's plenty fine since he can't be out as the king anyways. OK...? |

| What is up with this pace. It's like watching an adaptation of the chapter titles. You can't just hit all the major beats without giving any time to the characters. The quality has become at least passable, and I might almost watch it for the rest of the season, but that's a tough sell. It's like average abilities where despite having a horrible anime studio, it's being entirely carried by the underlying plot that they are doing their best to butcher. |

| Another interesting and enjoyable episode. That scene between Zef and his deceased sister was really emotional. Hopefully Tact is going to find his parents. He's such a nice and brave little boy. :) Also, lol at Fricka's behavior. She's so funny. |

| I thought in the manga the shota boy is a loli but I was wrong lol. It's nice that they made explanation about 3 Kingdom and Alcait Kingdom current affairs in this episode, I barely understood in the manga. Also the scene about the thief's past was nicely executed. ~looking forward for the next episode. |

| It's very hard to tell who's NPC and who's player. That party group, for example, at first I thought all of them (except the boy) are players, and then the "Lyrica" scene which is clearly scripted, makes me think some of them are NPC (specifically Zeph the scoutman), but Mira said in the end that all of them are NPC (including the perverted sorceress). |

| Honestly they are trying a bit to hard with the comedy. And Mira not really caring about her surroundings was a common thing in the novel but seeing her do it in the anime is somewhat strange. She does care about her image a bit too much tho, it's a bit contradicting. |

| Only thing good about this anime is it's ED. TBH the episode wasn't boring at all, it was able to keep me interested, but the way the story is presented could have been a lot better. I got that Mira was asked to search for other nine men something so she decided to go to nebrapolis and while going there she met with Tact and others and they accompany Mira to the nebrapolis so that Tact can see his dead parents in the mirror of darkness. And when they reach that dungeon and then that fight man, it was so bad man and that one woman in the guild was presented in such a cringey manner, maybe she's a good character but I already find her REALLY annoying and that last scene with her saying "mira's holy water" repeatedly and getting turned on for some reason was just pure raw cringe, I can understand it was done in a comedic way but it was a bit too much, it could have been toned down a little. That dead sister part wasn't emotional at all, everyone crying that much felt like over-acting and believe me when I say that I cry at even smallest of emotional scenes in animes, the scene doesn't even have to be emotional, I cry when two characters are just fighting to death but this dead-sister thingy was not at all emotional, it could have been if presented in a better way like if they showed as a bit more about zef then we could have felt bad for him when we found out that his sister, the only family he has left has died. There was a feeble attempt at what I think was comedy but they failed at achieving that. Again I don't think there's anything to look forward to for next week, I mean they can at least try for some cliffhangers, at least that will make people come back. They are providing us with nothing to look forward to. Overall I wouldn't call this episode bad but I won't call it good either. This episode was kind of better than previous ones so I think I'm not gonna drop this one just yet. I'm kind of a completionist so I don't wanna drop any anime lol so I'm trying to bare with this as much as possible. This is at least watchable so I think I can manage easily. Some people here are really enjoying this anime and I'm happy that they are, I wish I too can enjoy this anime just as much as them. |

| Well, I won't complain with that score of 5.62 at this point as it is in the early stages of the series but wow, they really made it fast paced to compress the story which made this pretty average and they wilfully skipped some scenes that made this episode somewhat disappointing to watch |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| The Anime skipped all the world building aspects of the novels. Like the reason for the adventure guild's existence. Why the dungeon are ranked and regulated. The smell was one factor but the main reason she called for Alfiba war because she understood it's not a game anymore and people could get hurt. So sure just wanted to end it instantly. Triggerfish124 said: it's not filler. They tell Mira what's common sense in the world. They smell the thing, the world has a tonic which greatly helps in that. The most important one of the leader. | Okay, this is my first drop of the season. There was really nothing exciting at all in those first three episodes, nothing that kept me hooked or that I am looking forward. I saw attempts at being funny, emotional and cool, but the way it was executed made each of these attempts fail and become average at best. |

Honestly, although I've complained on this sub-forum about this series in a few threads, it's not just this series (it's just one of the more egregious examples). More and more newer anime series being so rushed like this to fit into 11 - 13 episodes means so many are so bereft of emotion and properly established and paced development that you're just getting a highlight reel slideshow in lieu of a full world and story which feels whole and immersive and complete. Culminating in abominations like the Yakusoku no Neverland season 2 PowerPoint extravaganza. It's the main reason why I think I'm going to try to very quickly transition more and more away from seasonals and just watch mainly older series unless a new series' synopsis really interests me, and even then, be more willing to drop after one episode. You can already see after one episode for a lot of these types of series how fast-paced and shallow they're going to be and feel. It's so apparent and comes across in every scene. You can almost taste it. And the episode count format just plain doesn't work outside of a select few types of series. I've seen this happen again and again. Stories and worlds that would be amazing were they not rushed to be squeezed into 12 episodes for no good reason. |

Hmm, no.. actually going to CDjapan now to chekc if they have some items for sale. hehe |

| Just watched it - A much better episode than the first two. You can still tell it's insanely rushed in plot points, characterization, etc. and I don't see it ever rising above that basic framework which prevents it from really having the ability to be anything more than "decent", but it is watchable like this. Decent and watchable. Like a 5/10 series (so far; don't rate anything until when/if completed) instead of a 4/10 or 3/10. That is an improvement over unsightly and enraging. And it's 99% because there was no overreliance on unforgivably outlandishly bad CGI this time around. Even if it remains rushed and basic, it can still be serviceable and enjoyable enough just on that basis alone if it minimizes appearances of those non-effects again. I feel like this is a series I can drop at any time, but I don't really stand to gain or lose anything either by watching or dropping it. It can go either way. It's obvious it could be a much more meaningful, complete, and fulfilling story with many times more the planned length, budget, etc., but it's kind of just a cliffnotes version that is only barely more satisfying than just reading the synopsis and looking at the poster art. |

| Seems like they traded the bulk of the horrible CGI for 2D slideshows instead. Which is less offensive visually but still isn’t good. Pacing continues to be an issue. I laughed when the scout guy just barged into the mirror scene over the kid and made the last third of the epi about himself and his sister. That’s how it came across due to the rapid pace at least, we never got to know these hanger-ons enough to really care; the very end was abrupt too. |

If you noticed the trend of the rating, it's barely changed since the first episode aired. It was already at 5.6-something (5.63? I think it only dropped .1). The first episode was absolutely awful either as an individual standalone episode looked at in isolate or as a pilot episode/premiere. The second episode was also awful, albeit in a slightly different way (moreso visually and partially narratively as opposed to visually and narratively in equal measure). This is in my viewpoint, but apparently also the views held and expressed by many people. Yes, the third episode is better than what preceded it, but most people that dropped it did so after the first episode. Then a smaller group did so after the second. As I said, the rating barely fluctuated since the week of the season/series premiere. And many people rate their dropped series and rate them poorly. Even if every episode is better than the last continuing on out, beginning with this one, the third, they already made a severe critical mistake by tanking miserably the introduction to the series. Two episodes - that's one-sixth of the season/series' entire projected run at this point, and the first episode is, alongside the penultimate and finale, arguably the most important part. It would be better for their ratings if their worst episodes were distributed in a more scattered fashion or in the middle. If I was going based off the first episode or first two, I would have given it a 3 or a 4. The problem with MAL isn't that this series is at a 5. It's that a lot of other series which should be at a 5 or very low 6 at best are at 7s. Also, just look at the polling figures for episode one in its topic thread. 87% of the participating audience either hated it, disliked it, or thought it was just "okay". |

| Alright, so Mira has been tasked to search the rest of the nine wise men, before the great war erupting when the three great kingdom finished their nap pact. Idk why changing the freakin cloth to gothic important for the mission. But fine, after all, King order must be obey. Good for Solomon, Mira aka Danblf still had a spirit to role-play xd. The plan seems simple, but in the end Mira completely side tracked by helping the npc, and pretend it as the subquest. At least its reintroduced the beautiful Valkyrie from the first episode, get known better of npc lives, how they react and expressed their emotion, how they become crazy because one pretty loli sprinkled the poor mirror with her holy water, and, well, had more knowledge about Mira softie side. Yea. Thank you very much, anime.... |

And big part of scores on MAL is animation alone so even bad/mediocre show with good animation can get good score. As for me, I'm from "just okay" camp. I see enjoyable and aweful parts but mostly for me this show is mediocre. With a lot of wasted potential like eg. Fantasy Bishoujo is dealing much better (even as comedy) with the fact that MC changed gender... Mira being "pupil/daughter" of Dunbalf, players not ageing in this "game" world and there would be many players that were streamers, gamers, etc. with natural charisma or other players using their knowledge from real life in "game" world, like player who could help during pregnancy and childbirth would be very and I mean VERY valuable asset. |

Yes, I'm one of the people who doesn't rate anything officially until if and when I've completed it in full. I never rate unwatched/Plan to Watch (naturally), Currently Watching, On Hold/Paused, or Dropped series without exception. I also see enjoyable and awful parts. The genres are listed as Adventure and Fantasy and it's been described by some familiar with the source material of the light novel as a kind of slow Slice of Life fantasy mystery story with great world and character building. Well, I love good Fantasy, Mystery, Slice of Life, Adventure, etc. series. So it has all the elements as well as the more series-specific features of the plot unique to it. The problem just comes down to the execution. Even though I never rate officially before completing a series, it can be a fun exercise of sorts to try to predict and envision what my rating may end up being when arriving at that point down the line, even if the speculation ends up inaccurate and flipped on its head due to unforeseen events in the series and how it's handled. As I said above, if I just had to base it on episodes one and two, it would be 3 or 4 which in my mind is bad to terrible. If I had to go both based on episode three alone or how I surmise the rest of the series might proceed from episode three onward now that there have been some changes like the gathering of Mira's party which will probably be a lasting change throughout, then I'd say "5" which according to MAL's own descriptor is "Average". Because the worthwhile/good and bad/horribly botched parts will average out to...average. |

Also many people are reacting series after aired all episodes so score will change one - two weeks after show end. |

Kayle_x_Morgana said: lol why the fuck is this a 5? this show isn't that bad lol my score for ep.1 is 3. However, it has greatly improved to 6 by ep. 3. And I'm also considering buying from this anime now, because.. well, Emera is one of my fav characters this season. :) |

| I never rate a show until the final episode - I've been stung before by shows that start off great and are just terrible in the finale. Same as I've watched shows that started badly but improved a lot by the end. |

| Surprise actual great episode. Mira quite funny & that slavic sit with gothic dress lol. But you gotta tell Mariana before leaving, rude to abandon her again. Most designs pretty nice including the valkyrie (they cant even animate the cg but ok). Liking how freeflowing the plot goes, mc casually picks up 3 quests, wiseman, Howard & this kid. Then scout has a nice moment with his dead sister. That Mirror's a cool device dont recall seeing that in the crowd of isekais. |

| Main quest to find the wise men because the war might start again after 10 years since the pact will end but then obviously we got a more fun side quest with a young boy and an adventurer group that helped him to find that mirror where you can speak to a deceased person, at least it seems like that his parents are still alive but the adventurer speaking to his deceased little sister was very emotional for sure |

| I liked how the dude basically hijacked the quest to talk to his dead sister lol. I guess he saw Tact wasn’t getting anywhere so he wanted to have a try haha. Still, this anime is kind of fun. I’m enjoying it for what it is. Although, I’m curious about how everyone’s in the game. Have they all been trapped in the game for 30 years or something? If Solomon can see the other Wise Men as being “online”, couldn’t he just message them? These types of games should have a party chat function no? |

| Mira goes to Necropolis to visit a mirror to communicate with the dead. On her way she meets Tact and a group of adventurers. They make their way and discover Tact’s parents might still be alive. One of the party members communicates with his sister who passed away due yo illness. That green hair girl is dangerous and should be investigated |

| Rest in Peace, Lyrica. A simple and heart-touching episode, though it felt underwhelming because of the sudden reveal without any proper development. That megane wizard is a creep though. |
