I couldn’t. It was too boring, nothing like the dialogue in the Monogatari series. Mono had clever and enjoyable dialogue compared to Tex IMO

What did you enjoy about the dialogue in Tex?

You're going into it with wrong expectations. Film is the visual medium, it should not use dialogue and inner monologue in the way literature does. It should make sense in a way other mediums can not, use visuals to tell the story.

Monogatari is an incredibly character-driven LN adaptation whereas you wouldn't be able to find a show that is as plot driven as Texhnolyze is, they are very different.

With Texhnolyze, the enjoyment lies not in the dialogue, but in how the story is told. Texhnolyze uses the medium to the highest extent by always showing but never explicitly telling you what it wants to tell, which is incredibly hard to do with as many moving pieces as that.

The first episode is a masterpiece of directing. So many transitions that are impossible to do in live action film and a very incredible sense of composition on the director's part. This is as far as anyone can go within conventional standards and they pulled it off perfectly. I don't know how but everything seems to fall in place very cohesively. The director understands the writer's vision perfectly - although Konaka also helped a lot in the production.

This is a heavy show, you should not binge it unless you enjoy this kind of stuff especially. If you want to watch it and the directing style is not your cup of tea, do not watch more episodes a day than you can pay attention to. Also, you may consider picking it back up, the last 5 episodes will make the entire journey worth it probably. I enjoyed the show a lot myself and it gets better each time I watch it.

This said, I enjoyed Yoshii's dialogue a lot. I am not saying that you are not supposed to feel any emotions for the characters, but if the directing style does not click with you, then you probably will have trouble doing so. Texhnolyze is a very well written show and it provides a great deal of emotions, the trouble is that those emotions are very inaccessible.

I liked the Show dialogue it added its own creepy feel that separates it form other anime mediums. Had to watch some episodes twice because the dialogue is so different from other shows it as a Melo feel and makes the view the setting more in. Detail.

I mostly ignored much of the dialogue and bathed in the (nonviolent) atmosphere the show had at time. Dialogue was important, but the show had a nice chill vibe too

In regards to the dialogue, your supposed to use that (and characters actions) to analyse what the show is trying to tell u and the themes it’s trying to explore. It’s very subtle. The dialogue makes u think. And if your not anaysling the dialogue then yes u will find it boring
