That ending was sweet. But tbh, I'm getting tired of Mizuto these past few volumes unable to be honest with Yume while flirting around with his 'female friend' that he dumped. I just realized that tsundere male characters are even more annoying than those typical female tsundere characters. As Isana pointed out in the last volume or something, Yume has been the one to always take the initiative every time and do everything in her power to improve her relationship with Mizuto, in the past and even now. All the while Mizuto came across as either being stupidly dense or totally unable to express his honest feelings. At this point, I can only think that the author is doing it on purpose to extend the series. He even mentioned that he'd like to write another 5 more volumes or so of this series... which can be a good thing depending on how you look at it.

Anyway, my annoyance with MC aside, this is one of the better rom-com series I've read in a while and I'd totally recommend this to any rom-com fan. The only better series that I can think of right now is Gimai Seikatsu where the characters are genuine, realistic, relatable and completely honest with their feelings.

To repeat, romcom males are always too risk-averting. Starting a relationship to them is like they're thrown with responsibility to shoulder the girl's life and happiness so they are always too afraid about making one mistake and everything ends. There's no trying to fix things if it doesn't work out.

Meanwhile the girls always seems to have more courage to take the initiative according to their feeling like they can always try again no matter how many time they failed.

Well... probably culture. Like, if a girl reject a boy's approach, then it's the boy who doesn't meet the standard. But if the boy reject the girl, the blame came to him instead for being cold when someone loved him. So maybe the fear does have a reason and boys grew to rather let girls take the responsibility.
