This has to be the end, right? Maybe a chapter or two more, but I can't see this going much longer.

Yeah I believe that's the end. A bit rushed but still a very wholesome and satisfying ending for me. Gonna miss this series.

This had so much potential. . . wtf happened? It was all over the place. It felt like the story couldn't figure out what it wanted to be and was constantly running into walls. The resolution of the love triangle was. . . bad. I'm still trying to figure out just wtf was going on there. And then to add a 3 years later chapter that heavily implies the 3 of them are going to end up together anyways? ffs what even was the point of chapter 14? I wanted so much to like this story more. The last volume ruined any chance of that happening. 4/10

I was fine with it going for an officially poly route. Like, harem endings are the authors giving up and refusing to close any road, but a poly relationship opens new routes of drama and aren't all that explored. But it just ended.

I'm guessing it was either very unpopular or the author didn't know what to do with the story and gave up.

It was obvious pretty early that they had no idea what they were doing with the story. That last volume was all kinds of clusterf*ck. If you make a big deal about who the main character is going to choose and they actually decisively choose someone, stick with it, none of this 3 years later last panel backpedaling bull. It makes the entire build up irrelevant. It's insulting to the readers.

i enjoyed this series

but again this was another yuri series that wanted to do so much more but didnt have the time to do it sadly

i say that because with the last few chapters it just started going all over the place and rushing things

not to mention i was really thinking it was gonna be another love triangle relationship with all3 of them being with each other like how the teachers was not to mention the thing that happened with the Sayo and the other girl when they kissed that kinda just went away like it was nothing even though it was making like it was gonna be something at the time

but nonetheless i still enjoyed the series the ending was nice i liked who got picked and i liked that we even got a little bit of the future for them (though i would have liked a bit more)

but it is what it is still was very good in the end but again another yuri series that could have been even better if it had more time to go on

The ax took yet another victim. It's such a pity too, because the arrow gimmicky and the pink color were being used in pretty fun and novel ways. Also, this is yet another example on how a poli ending can salvage terrible vile decisions, such as giving the win to the childhood friend. It's like giving a Yaya the win. You just never do that.

I can't for the life of me figure out why the manga would: Show Sayo and Rinna kiss accidentally and be awkward about it, show a successful polyamorous lesbian couple, have Mei be conflicted because she feels like she likes both Sayo and Rinna... only for her to pick Sayo with Rinna just giving up and then they don't see each other for years. It genuinely feels like not only the manga was cancelled, but the editor told the mangaka they were not allowed to do the polyamorous ending it was building towards. Incredibly disappointing, everything up to the last two chapters was great and actually really intriguing, a resolution to a love triangle that wasn't picking one or the other was dangled in front of our eyes and then snatched away at the last second.

Well polygamy is illegal in Japan. So that would be my guess as to why a serial publication would get cold feet about it. Same reason why so many adult-loli relationships in manga don't officially start until the girl is at least 16, the legal marriage age for girls in Japan. It is hinted in the epilogue that they did end up in a polygamous relationship anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if part of the reason it was canned seemingly early is because of the polygamous relationships. The epilogue may have been as far as the publisher was willing to go as a compromise.

Just finished the series, and I think it was overall pretty good! The discussion about the ending having the relationship not being poly is well founded with the foreshadowing given, but the discussion at the café with Akane-chan made it clear what Rinna-chan wanted and why she quit being an idol.. (Wanting to love a SINGLE person.) So why is her high school story ending putting her EXACTLY where she CLEARLY didn't want to be?! And with how the time skip goes, it is pretty obvious that Rinna-chan is still single. Ignoring one's own character development is so frustrating to me. I was fine if either, both, or even neither of them--though that would take some effort for me to appreciate--ended up with MC, to be honest.

This was not a good ending.
I'm not a big fan of the poly route in general, but to set it up to that extent and then just lazily
was just incredibly unsatisfying.

Oh well, I guess this walked so that Watanare could run, right? 😂
