im new to the franchise and this specific anime caught my eye, just wondering if i have to watch anything beforehand or if im good to start with this, ty !

No, it's not necessary to watch anything beforehand. Every series in this franchise is settle in it's own universe and have no relation betwen them, unless it's a sequel, but that's no the case with this one.

Even if a character from previus series appears in this one, they are usually parallel versions from the current universe. So you don't have to worry.
