About Junpei not intervening while bullying

Well, I am also someone who get bullied for like 5 years of his school life till I quit at 2nd high school year. So, I don't think Junpei does anything wrong it's like if you step against bullying you will be there next target as it was very similar in my case well I even fight almost all my class boys and some other section boys alone though the good thing was I was a WWE fan and obviously don't follow their warning of not using moves in school more than half of boys disappear after that well I also take small beating but I beat some of them and then ran to P.T. teacher (Genius Me😏). So, getting back on the topic Junpei even almost quit balle for his relations so how the hell he was supposed to destroy those relations for the boy who is the crush of his crush. He also thought at first that he will handle this himself as he was so confidence and even verbally destroyed Junpei at studio but he was angry that he didn't do anything to stop them. Although he helped him by doing balle in the end which needs lot of courage as he lost his club and all of his friends.

Sure it’s not Jumpei’s duty to stop the bullying but I think that he would have normally stopped them if he wasn’t jealous of Mori and hates that that other girl likes Mori. So I think he didn’t stop them because he was still sulking and didn’t want anyone to find out he does ballet or whatever, which is something pretty shitty to do imo

Yup, that's correct. At the time, he hesitated because he was worried about his "manly" image but later, he clarified within himself the meaning of "manly" and saved Luou.
