How do you think the Evil Lord Wrath will look in the adaptation of this arc? He’s technically already appeared in episode 2 of season 1 very briefly but that Evil Lord Wrath looks a bit different from the one in the Light Novel artwork. Personally I think the one in the Light Novel looks more powerful and cool so I hope it’s that version.

I’m so excited for this to be animated whilst I do really enjoy volumes 10 and 11 of the light novel (what will be season 4) as I have all the others, 12 and 13 are just on a differentlevel for me personally. I can’t wait to see how they do it and who will voice Neia and Remedios. I hope they can do it all in a single film because there’s a lot of long discussions and many long battles. Maybe they’ll have the beginning of the invasion of the Holy Kingdom and end it after Jaldabaoth takes the capital. What does everyone reckon?

i think that they'll skip a lot of content from the LN. Hopefully they don't skip most of the important moments. I hope that they'll make Evil Lord Wrath character design better than in the series since this is a movie after all.(most sequel movies after the series look and feel better than the series).

It's a shame if they do skip much because the character development in Neia is huge and she's my favourite character so I'd love to see all of it.

Let's just hope for the best! I won't expect much from this movie, so i won't be feeling down so much if this movie turns out really bad 😑

Yeah I suppose that's a good idea. Even if its awful I'll just re-read the LN and if its not awful then that's amazing.

Heavy spoilers as I basically list out all the plot points I really enjoyed and what to see animated.

neia parts are what i really want n care the most in this movie adaptation tbh,but yeah many of cool things will most likely not going to get adapted well n some might be even get skipped, especially for the dark parts.
I also don't think adapting 1 arc that worth 2 volumes into 1 movie is a good idea unless this movie is more than 2 hour long. i really think they really should just include first half of the arc in season 4,but since they don't show it on season 4 trailer,i kinda doubt we will get to see Neia in season 4,unless they're purposely hide it from us which i really doubt

I reckon the best we’re getting is maybe the last episode of season 4 is up until Jaldabaoth takes the capital city in the battle with the Paladins and Holy Lady. Then the rest is crammed into one 2 hour film.

Which is a shame because for season 4 they’re putting 2 arcs into one season to improve the pacing and the animation quality looks so much better. It seems like for season 4 they want to up the adaption quality so why would they immediately downgrade it afterwards? It’s odd. Also in the past three seasons they haven’t really cut anything major out of the anime besides Nigredo and I think an intermission in Volume 9 that was about the Beastman invasion in the Dragon Kingdom. I think Overlords a pretty difficult LN to adapt because there’s so much subtle detail and inner thoughts but they’ve done a decent enough job so far. I hope they don’t cock it up.

Besides I’m looking forward to seeing more people understand that Neia is Justice, other girls are wickedness.

that could work too as long as they don't put entire holy kingdom arc in 1 movie
i think it's pretty sad to think the next 2 arcs in season 4 will get better adaptation vol 9,the arcs aren't even as good yet get better adaptation than some of the best arcs, like i don't understand what they were thinking by doing this

also,i think it would be better if Neia is also making appearance in the tv series, not just in the movie, because not everyone will watch the movie around the same time, less hype than the tv series
