I like Onizuka. Whilst obviously crazy he’s a bit more in the real world. I like how he’s not portrayed in any way as a good person but he gets what needs to be done in the best way he can, regardless of the rules.

In terms of mentors and sheer presence I think Reigen from Mob Psycho outclasses Koro Sensei but yeah as a teacher I can't really think of anyone who comes close

Onizuka from great teacher onizuka is one of the best teachers in anime. He can literally jump from a building to save his students.

wached tha anime in my last year of middle school right before exams really helped me go through exams since i am a lazy ass weeb
and also that year i had the worst god damn teacher in my life and i almost was "inspired" by the anime but ultimately assassination classroom was almost like a balance having the best and worst teacher at the same time
finally assassination classroom was and still is the only anime to make me cry some have come close like steins gate but only assassination classroom got it out of me in ep 24 when korosensei was taking attendence for the final time
