Well, really I'm just being a cynical, negative asshole. But the way I see it... The problem is that due to licensing issues, they'll probably try to redub it. Netflix REALLY likes to unnecessarily rewrite scripts with stiff and inaccurate translations (Just look what they did to Eva. No it's not nostalgia, I watched the original dub in like 2016, before that, I had only ever watched it subbed.). On top of that They're just really bad about censorship, and no matter how hard they try, they're never gonna be able to scrub Berserk down to a PG level like they're going to want to. And they're probably going to want to if they already have their greasy hands in it. |
| That is pretty epic. The 1997 version is very faithful to the manga. So the Netflix audience gonna have a good time (well until they get to the Eclipse lol). |
