About the ending (spoilers!!?)

Just wanted to know if the whole thing was all a play, like everything that happened wasn't real but all staged ? Asking because at the end, it sounded like the blonde dude was narrating the thing. I didn't really understand

The anime is a adaptation of stageplay. Ending is just trashy clueless execution.
Don't think much, it's one of those anime where screenplay is mess of bunch of ideas.

it's garbage they did great job at pulling you in then the story just goes down hill

I don’t think this anime is for everyone. Everything is so philosophical and dramatic. Like a theater play… even the soundtrack, the letterbox. Now that I know that it was based on a stageplay, it makes sense. Even so, I like it. Even with the bad ending it was kind of beautiful.
