How far into light novel is the series?

The movie will adapt Holy kingdom arc (which is very brutal) on Volume 12 - 13

P.S. Adapting 2 whole volumes into a movie... I don't think that will be good for the story but I'll be looking forward to it...

and honestly... I don't think they will ne making another 1. VOL 15-16... aren't good, and would make for a really boring anime. and based on what's been said about the author(he hates overlord, and just wants to end it), the last 2 are only going to be worse.

towards the OP. the movie that will be released will cover vol 12-13. that awkward chunk that was missing from the season 4 that left you going, Wait... what?

alit of people are claiming in interviews, social media, eyc. he said he wants to quit writing, and go back to doing his day job, or that he's tired of overlord.

his next novels are also supposedly boring highschool rom-coms, or he stated he only wants to write the above, and is just looking to finish this up.

as for 15-16. I didn't mind it.... but. I would never want to pay for them unless they were 80% less than most of the others.

there's very little of any interest in them. I personally like slice of life with fantasy or freaky characters.. but this wasn't very good, and definitely wasn't compelling.. it's just filler. and worst of all. they Wasted soo much of that filler on listening to ainz go on and on about how great it is to be a corporate puppet. or how much being in a fantasy world sucks, and being a Ruler of death sucks.

I don't care about "salary men", or "japanese etiquette for slaves", or trying to sell used cars to suckers. I'm watching a show about an evil lich who can conjure the undead, and rules over a dungeon of demonic monsters who torch nations, and conspire with criminal organisations.

or atleast give me the greatness of the bonus novel. an exciting adventure with mare and aura, rather than a padded out chapter that lasts 2 whole volumes.

as individual products.. they both suck. consider there's 2, and neither are worth a thing as individual pieces, and even together are only okay. that's twice the price, for some of his worst work. maybe the WN might top that with jett sama. never bothered or will bother reading it.
