Think about it, when Grifith came in power he just tried to improve the quality of living for his nation, while Guts on other hand caused death and destruction where ever he goes bringing his curse with him. If you look at the large picture Grifith is the actual good guy in this story.

Can’t exactly call someone a bad guy for seeking revenge on the person who raped ur gf and murdered every one of ur friends except one and also seeking to kill his evil servants that only do atrocious acts and being destruction upon the world.

It seems like Griffith is a 'Good guy' but after what happened to the band of the Hawk, what isn't to say that he does it again? This time with his 'Kingdom'?

Friendly reminder that he's the one who plunged the nation into darkness in the first place.

What a load of Bollocks. Griffith sacrificed every meber of the band of the hawks and raped casca and then gave up his humanity to become a demon.

HOW is Guts even remotely close to being the bad guy???

I don't think so, Griffith will sacrifice anyone for his on ambitions while guts knew he had nothing but the sword

I would agree if you’re looking at it from the perspective of the society in berserk. But we as readers know the truth of who they really are so yah no.

The only and I mean ONLY reason Guts could be considered a negative catalyst in any possible way would be that; Guts leaving drove Griffith to freak Tf out because he couldn’t come to terms with one of his best friends leaving even though he refused to acknowledge as a friend but subconsciously did respect him as a friend yet wanted to keep using as a tool for his dream alone because he couldn’t come to terms with the fact that he considered him a friend (lol literally a little kid right here but sure call him a greater good thinker buddy) which led Griffith to give in to the darkness and yknow, massacre and propagate. Classic saint stuff.

Hail strugglers, take heed approaching this creature, lest you end up within it's flow of causality, and perish in a death most vicious

Man, I never thought I'd see the day when history repeats itself and zoomers are making the same Griffith did nothing wrong bait posts we used to back in the day. Thanks for bringing back memories, Contrarian-sama. Genuinely.
