The premise of episode 1 was lowkey kinda hard. An isekai protagonist who's a highschooler but also a vigilante sounds amazing. Actually I would've preferred it if that was the whole show. It would've been so cool. But I've barely even seen the isekai part. It's actually cool that it has a early 1900s type of setting instead of the typical medieval fantasy setting. That's cool. Shame Kageno died before Nishino knew anything. I wonder if she'll have any significance later on. Probably not. Episode 1 barely showed anything except Kageno's character so I'm looking forward to watching more.

The first episode is worthless trash. Just another pointless reason to call in the isekai truck and have everything before mean nothing. No imagination, but animation is fine and I believe the story will improve once it truly begins. Too bad they didn't skip the episode plot altogether. Makes me appreciate Re Zero just skipping through the intro world as quickly as possible.
