| Pretty good episode, they are back searching that legendary stick but end up very twist ending, Lord thunder pretty confident telling that stick not missing but reality its missing, got me laugh there |
| Kyuumiya is in the middle of a suspicious ritual inside a volcano when the heroes interrupt, seeking the sacred cudgel. We get to see what Zhou Yi has been up to since ep 8 and a conspiracy is revealed. The Kyuumiya family and the exorcists are not just employing demons, but are behind every single demon attack in Huaxiu. Not just that, but they are cultivating demons inside what I think is supposed to be Mount Fuji to create a new demon king. Kyuumiya, denying stealing the cudgel the whole episode, was telling the truth. As a few of us thought last week, she was unable to lift the it. The real cuprit is... Froggy 2!? Lord Thunder, introduced this season and hyped up quite a bit, had a very small part to play in this episode, just showing up at the beginning to make a fool of himself. Maybe he will have a bigger part to play in the final episode. Another character I hope will play a part in the conclusion is Xiaoyu, the butterfly demon. Wang Ling had a few cool scenes and using previous seasons' openings is always super hype. Unfortunately, this episode didn't really have the sakuga to justify the VN style of ep 10. My expectations for episode 12 are very high. The reveal that Froggy 2 has sided with the demons was great and it somehow caught me entirely off guard. This season has downplayed him to the point where I forgot he was a real character with motivations lol. The new demon king rises from the ashes! |

| I must give credit where credit is due, the reveal in this episode completely totally caught me by surprise. Yoshiko was innocent (of the theft anyways) after all and it was really Froggy that did it. I am not sure if I prefer Froggy being the main baddy of the season instead of Yoshiko, but I can see it working depending on how the finale goes down. It makes a lot of sense, but I am still hoping to get a little more out of Yoshiko and Lord Thunder instead of just being red herrings. |

| In short, Froggy 2 was the culprit but you must first watch the episode to truly understand the story. I was amazed by the end scene, backstory of Froggy 2. That was just sad. I do wonder what changed his mind. Ending it with the usual ED song gave me a nostalgic vibe. I can't wait for the last episode of this 3rd season! |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| As squeepigs are an entirely arbitrary ranking Im going with a 4.5999. Who would of thought Yoshiko actually trying to do good. Subs were a bit quick but banger of an episode! | Those two sung to make the girl angry and come out of her house. Their singing was so hilarious, I laughed my ass off Lamo. And that long haired lord saying the staff turning into a small object, what was with that 😆. So funny. What was even the point of that new character? (master lord guy). He did absolutely nothing in this season. But he does look a little similar to the guy who sold MC the sword. |

| This show is on a roll since episode 8, legit brought back my love for this series. Wouldn't blame Froggy 2 for going back considering how shitty Wang Ling and his group have treated bro. The use of the S2 OP as insert song here is so perfect, S2 theme was about demons and demon kings, the vibe here fits. Lowkey this show have been so underrated, considering it only has 7.35 score on MAL. It's better than like half of the top 100 shows on MAL from every aspects lmao. |
