Hot springs episode and it's the most awkward one yet lol, Cid enters while Alexia is enjoying her spa. Goddess trial tournament begins and he distracts everyone with his shadow persona. His opponent is the strongest level, the witch of Calamity but it's just the remnants of the witch. It's obvious that Cid expected at least this much so it feels like he's adding some sense of suspense by not going all out in the beginning. This sanctuary must be another world or dimension judging by the fancy summoning circles.  |

| LMAO, Cid is truly a dedicated and most incredibly BASED Onsen-enjoyer. He doesn't put up with the immature trope of guys and gals fussing over seeing each other naked bodies, when he simply could shut his eyes and just relax and take it the warm healing sensation that the onsen provides, no princesses would sway him from one of his so-called "insignificant interests" However, he doesn't stop there... In response to Alexia oggling at his sheathed member, in what can be called the most daring and absolute madman of a POWERMOVE, he unsheathed his EXCALIBUR and let Princess Alexia herself be one of the fewest, lucky enough to marvel at the grand scale of his shining sword! The balls, the superiority, what a chad. That moment is one of the best-executed onsen scenes that I've seen. We're getting some sort of rivalry between Alexia and Beta lol, they each have their gripes on each other, moreso from Beta since she knows all the things that Alexia has been doing with Cid, true to her role as the record-taker. On the other hand, we get to see a little bit of action from Cid in his Shadow persona, it feels nice knowing that Alexia is sure that Cid will not lose outright, and sure enough, he not only stood his ground but managed to defeat this "Witch of Calamity's image" in a flash. I would've wished to see more of the reactions from the standing audience too though. Wouldn't it be cool to spread the infamy of his existence through sheer admiration and fear of his incomprehensible power? Nothing to note about the fight scene itself, really basic. |

| Lmfao that hot springs scene. I'm surprised Alexia didn't beat the shit outta Cid. That must've taken some serious restraint. Impressive. Oh, another isekai, another corrupt church. How original. At this point I wonder if there's any anime where the church is one of the good guys. Still I wonder what the deal with the tournament is. Is it real? Or is it a sham? Both? |
