i hate kamijo you for many resons one his power is boring all what he do is punching two every oppment is girl three [he beat Accelerator with 5 punches only normal punches idk how did get beaten Accelerator is my fav chracter and I am not satisfied with the result] i thougt he will train but the whole serios he was the same nothing changed everytime punch punch sry for my bad grammer xd

the index animes are bad adaptations from what ive heard from LN readers.
Touma is better in the novels

The LN is poorly adapted. Toaru is meant to be discovered through that media.
If you don’t like Touma mostly is because the Anime did it horribly.

I dont like Toma is a good character tbh cause i think he is overall boring
BUT the fight with accelerator made total sense, accelerator was a cocky guy who was above everyone else thanks to his esper abilities, he allways relied on them and never had a fist fight in his life cause it was never necessary resort to his body strenght. Toma nulified his esper powers rendering him as a weak and fragile guy who never fought b4. Ofc toma has the upper hand in that scenario cause he trained his body for more, all his life he needed to do more.

Its like you put a rly weak guy with a gun and a wrestler fighting, (in a normal scenario the guy with the gun wins cause well HAS A GUN and shots the wrestler) but if you break the gun the wrestler has way more physical prowess than the the other guy and the fight is over.

They are probably referring to dragon Touma when they say that. Imagine Breaker is a lot more complex than just right hand cancels out things. The Anime does not do a good job of adapting the LN but also true extent of IB is not revealed until New Testament.
