Mushoku Tensei manga vs anime.

I am a huge fan the  MT anime and loved seasons 1 (both parts). I recently bought vol 1 of the manga as its been sold out months/year. I am unconvinced if i should continue it. So my question to you guys is; is it worth reading? I know some people complained about it skipping tons of content and being far worse than the anime but it also has good reviews.
