The episode preview mislead me into thinking we'd have a mostly dialog free Tom & Jerry esq episode. Not only did the cats here get dialog, but it had more than just a Tom & Jerry like plot, though it really had fun emulating the style of those cartoons with it's wacky action. Chikako here making a complete idiot of herself here was pretty funny, and every single person dunking on her for spreading her ridiculous sounding rumor was super cathartic.  Definitely another top tier episode. All of the comedy here was perfect, and the moments that were intended to come off as cute were executed just right, and while not tackling hard/dark subjects like the previous best episodes, I still hope Caribou-kun mentions this episode. |
