Hi Everyone!

I just finished Hana Yori Dango and I have some questions about it.
I first watched the Korean drama (which I love) and now the anime too. I'm wanna read the manga then. (So no spoilers please)

The thing is I liked the first part of the anime but then I was really annoyed with the heroine behaviour and others characters too. Plus, the ending is like coming out of nowhere... I didn't not feel this way with the drama. So I was wondering if the anime was really loyal to the manga.

Tell me your thoughts!

I saw the anime and badly wanted to read the manga, it took me exactly 3 days, I read it from the beginning because it was impossible to follow where the anime left off, with the manga I was able to capture the emotions and feelings of the characters the way the author wanted. Thus, Hana Dan became one of the best manga I've ever read, the manga experience was very good, because it was the ORIGINAL ahahah :)

well, during a part of the anime, he was faithful to the manga, having only a few different details, the problem was in the middle of the story they changed a lot, because, imagine, for them to start a new arc, they will have to do it until the end and they (producers) had no income for that, because the arcs in the manga were too long, and at the end of the anime, it was a totally distorted ending of the original story, because they didn't do it in a complete and explanatory way during the anime. That is, even a part is faithful, but appearing more or less from episode 20, the story was completely invented, keeping only a few events from the main story.

I see !!!
That is the feeling I had in the middle of the story, I was fed up with the heroine and it was like a vicious circle and the ending didn't match with the previous events. Since I had watched the drama, I hope the manga was closer to it. So thank you very much, your answer really helped, now I know the manga is quite different and I wanna read and enjoy it! 😻

For anyone curious, the manga starts diverging from the anime around episode 27 / the beginning of volume 9.
