Recently was (re)watching it while I was working on a Photoshop project. There's been something that has always bothered me; what characters are their Leijiverse persona's? So far here's what I recognize:
It's been a very very long time since watching anything from the Yamato series I can't really tell who they are. Can anyone fill in the blanks of the other characters? Also has anyone seen Mi-kun anywhere in the video? Since Matsumoto made the effort to include a lot of side-characters gathered from all his works and at least gave them a cameo I can't believe that he'd leave his favorite kitty out. |

| I've always seen the characters on Interstella as different, visually based on his most known ones, like you mentioned on your post, we have Maetel, Tetsturo, Male-like -Harlock, there. It's been some time since I heard a Leiji interview speaking on that subject, so I can't/don't remember anymore. |
| In the first season of Galaxy Railways, the troops of evil alien race are wearing almost the same armors with gas masks as the soldiers which captured the band members in Interstella5555. Well, at least we can easily recognize Matsumoto-sama's style! |
