The next season will probably be the last season of this show (which would need a third season to adapt the rest of the manga) because 1) The manga sold an average of 307k per volume, which is not good enough, and 2) Abysmal blu-ray sales and this is a late-night anime. Honestly would be shocked if they ended up making a third season. And it's not a widely loved manga in Japan either according to a 2021 poll where 150k people voted for their favourite manga, and the manga of this didn't make it inside the top 100, while Jujutsu Kaisen (which started in the same year as this) did.

If they really intend to not make s3 and s3 is needed, then it would be likely that they could rush and cram it all on s2

i loved the whole show but gabimaru losing his memories felt like he had lost all of his character development, if season 2 gives his memories back i wont hate this episode

The animations were good and the plot was good, but it could have been better. It's an anime that can be watched in your spare time.

That twist i absolutely did not see coming. I was wondering his entire time why we never heard Gabimaru’s wife's name. Even in his own thoughts he only ever calls her “my wife” and now we have the reason why.
