Treating the womb as a lil magic bag for mana is pretty hilarious. Pete’s got a lot to learn about being a female Riversi lol.

EP 9

So yeah another episode where not much happened. A lot of little stuff. We get a bit of a post ed scene where clearly stacey seems to be up to something, whatever that is.
Its kinda like the first few eps though even harder to tell whats going to happen. Also I think aside from the sword lessons the teachers have not been seen on screen at all.

For better or worse its both very easy to bing watch because it just flows smoothly, at the same time imagine having to wait a week every time. Like, I know it has 15 eps, but we're already past the halfway point and uhm. I dunno.

The implications of the flashback scene(s) is kinda disturbing, but I guess thats the whole point, have vague flashback dark backstory without actually showing us

@Sugram22 but then they can't walk or run without being hindered so that's not really a good idea if the goal is to become stronger overall tbh

@Sugram22 I know I answered in kind lol.
But joke aside I'm sure at least one of those mages tried it for one reason or another. However, mages are often obsessed with refining their lineage to get children that will be even more adept than them at whatever they're specializing in. It's usually done by selecting the proper partners to have children with (regardless of marrying those person or not). They don't want to have their genes go to waste by dying before leaving behind a child that has at least as much potential as them, and hopefully, has more potential than them on that field. Many characters in the show are the product of such refining. I would suspect that trying to modify that specific area of a male body doesn't suit very well with them due to risks of not being able to transit their genes properly any longer.

I was expecting one of them to get stabbed in the back or something at the end.

That was Shannon's voice in the flashback, wasn't it? Was she pregnant? Was Oliver the father?

Bro… I’m not sure if this Pete womb storage thing is an example of the author’s poorly disguised fetish or what, but I just couldn’t stop laughing at this part lol. So you can straight up store mana up the coochie, like a literal “pee is stored in the balls” moment but it’s the womb instead of the balls and mana instead of pee. But damn this must mean women are just better than men in this world huh? They just get an extra mana reserve, and from what I can tell men can’t do the same with their junk, this also tells me Pete will probably be staying in his female form most of the time. Besides switching the types of magic he’s proficient in, there’s basically no reason to go back to being a man, unless he just misses his man parts I guess lol, what an odd situation this is, but I can definitely say it’s made Pete way more relevant than he was before.

Oh, and also, nice Pete boobs fanservice lol, quite an impressive pair he has, I wonder if it reflects how much he’s packing in his man form. Other than the Pete stuff tho, I liked the moments with the gang in the labyrinth, it felt nice seeing them have a good time together and being actual friends instead of just people that happened to hang around each other. And now they have a secret base and a name for their group, the Sword Roses huh… not a bad name but also kinda cheesy, but Nanao came up with it and the moment they shared there was good, so I can’t complain.

I also found the story about Kevin Walker to be an interesting one, bro was thought to be dead but came back six months later and said “I lived bitch” lol, something about just chilling and having a barbecue in the labyrinth is cool too, I hope we see him again, same with the merchant who I thought was amusing.
