I find the OVA dub to be pretty charming. I grew up in that era of dubs though, so I’ve got some serious nostalgia bias.

The OVA has one of my favorite dubs of all time. That shit had me dying of laughter

The English voices for the OVA were pretty decent, and the original soundtrack was actually left intact.

It's no contest that the OVA dub is better IMO.
