In what ways is this show/manga considered Seinen?!?!
Looks to be just another flavor of the season rom/com type uzakichan/nagatoro that just prolongs the will they wont they blah blah.
Genuinely curious why this series is labeled under seinen or am i missunderstanding the definition of the term?

Because the magazine the manga is published is a Seinen magazine.
Yeah it’s just that simple.

The manga is published in a Seinen magazine that’s honestly it. Doesn’t matter if something feels Seinen like Claymore or Chainsaw both were published in Shounen Magazines. Seinen is a demographic not a genre. Seinen is intended for male adults while Shounen is meant for Male Teens. Counter to that Josei is meant for Female Adults and Shojo is Teen Females.

Why do People act like these demographic tags give no meaning to the manga’s overall tone? It obviously does. It may not be a “genre”, but it definitely sets a certain expectation when heading into a manga or anime.

@JayTCU no it's not, do you really think just because it was intended for "adult" it have to be all bleak, dark and gritty? I mean ,for westerner that was raised in a country where "for adult" label is always a sign that the media is full of sex and gore, it ain't suprising, but in Japan it's different.

@Neo_Randomz Thank you for revealing yourself as a child. Japan isn't some fairy tale place to morally grandstand for, it's just hidden better. Keep comfortable living under that naive rock.
