the first season was absolutely depressing but in the second season it was not at all depressing, it was like some different show I was watching like a shounen where mc has to protect everyone 😔

@N_ee_l it's good to hear that. I don't think I can watch 2 seasons of that kind of sad stories

I have seen 86 and vivy Fluorite Eye's Song those are some heart shaped and breaking story’s this show I wanted everything to be alright. Season 2 OMG last episode told the audience what happened to the little girl from season 1 and his best friend from season 2 and much others what happened after he became the earth? season 2 was the hardest season I’ve watched in anime as a whole.

Damn for me Clannad and Grave of the Fireflies were the most sad shows I’ve ever watched. For this show, I felt like the story and characters weren’t all there, making it less sad for me. Nana is another super depressing show

@Pokemon_rocks I've watched both and they aren't as sad as story as this. Eighty Six is one of my favorite shows btw, and Vivy is also good, they aren't just as sad.

The second season is where it all goes down. The first season (imo) wasn’t anywhere close to being as good as the second season.

I've also watched Angel Beats, Anohana, and other sad animes. It's just that this story feels like there won't be a good ending for every story. Maybe just recency bias.

Yeah, it was such a hard watch, but so amazing at the same time. It showed just how brutal the wad was and it was just so depressing seeing what happened to the two of them as time went on.
