Dude went all out on the war and managed to protect them all, but it seems like that Yamamoto might've been hypnotized by someone else behind the scenes. Sad we will never know who that mysterious guy is... All and well 6/10

Wait...it was axed? Dangit. It just started to get exciting too with real-world action going down. I would have liked to see him use his gained muscles more in a fight, maybe wrestle a guy, or at least win a fight on his own without outside help.

The novel series is also over, apparently. So I'm not totally sure if that was ended prematurely as well.

I guess the unknown hypnosis-using baddie will forever stay a mystery baddie now that it's over.

My favorite part of this series was "Destiny" the golden armadillo lizard (or more like baby basilisk, with both poison and petrification attributes). Super cute, intelligent, loyal, and strong. It would have been interesting to see where this series took the lizard, where it might have grown bigger, or if they somehow managed to bring over all the fantasy villagers into the real-world.

Overall it was a very good series. I'm glad it ended on a happy note with a sort-of open ending. At least it's better than a straight cliffhanger and then cut to black, I suppose.

@Estoy_Gordo Having read it, the light novel it definitely didn't feel cut off early and was good enough for me to just stop reading the manga a while ago.

Why was this manga axed?

F*ck. I figured out why it got axed. It was not degenerate enough for Japanese market. There is no obnoxus tits-in-your-face fanservice, MC was not trying to comit an etnical clensing of some group that conviniently gives him reason to exteriminate it, there is not enough theatrical cringe, there is no mention of FAMOUS HISTORICAL NAMES FOR EVERY RANDOM CHARACTER OR ENTITY, characters look and act like normal people and not like cancer inducing edgelords, there is no rape, there is no innuendos for underage sex, there is no innuendos for transgender or gay attraction, there is no innuendos of NTR...
Author f*cked up by doing a good job...

So sad it got axed. This was one of the only kingdom-building manga where the MC isn't blatantly OP and it felt like everytime he achieves something he had to work hard for it.

@Mailo91 Haha, god dammit. Seems to web novel (NPC Town-building Game) is complete though so at least it's not a story where we'll never get a proper ending. Thx for the laugh though.

sloppy ending cuz axed

I imagined it wd be like this: Carol gets isekai'ed > massive points > win

turns out Carol's reverse isekai story does happen in the LN... well, not our fault that good manga like these get axed cuz the market got sh-tty tastes

I enjoyed it overall and really liked the premise but damn it's disappointing to find it just ends here and got axed. What a bummer.

I wholeheartedly agree...
There is few kingdombuilding stories that I know of that actually starts off from literal scratch instead of a seemingly crumbling kindom. And fewer still that actually manage to do them with any form of finesse.

And to seee one where the MC is both not OP and have no direct way to influence the other characters aside from a few tricks... This is unheard of for me.

It's unfortunate that this story was axed. The potential was enormous, there are so many way they could take this story towards with the amount of plot points it has opened up and the cliffhanger that it was left on. The MC isn't even fully reddemed just yet, he has only begun to take steps towards bettering himself and rebuilding his social life. There's still a ton more character development that he can go through.

But alas all that never came to be...

Nahhh, on that point stories like Vinland Saga manage to do all of that without all of the negatives. It is one of the least anime-like anime considering the lack of traditional anime tropes. I see that you havent completed the first season and never seen the 2nd season. I recommend that you do as you might find parallels between our MC in this story and that in Vinland Saga

its an underrated masterpiece. Its not a generic shut in story when mc gets reincarnated into some world, its something way better than that. This manga carries life lessons, memorable characters as well as it knows how to hook you up to everything this manga has to offer real good. 10/10
