| I guess the mangaka was an Iczer 3 fan, since it seems her and her partner got more love than the original so far! Wait if this was published in 88 as it says here on MAL (although Wiki says different, I feel like the MAL date is more likely correct, no way this manga came before the original Iczer 1 OVA) then did Iczer 3 come from the manga? As that aired in 90 I think? So I guess the mangaka was more attached to the new characters they created maybe? But still, would rather see more Iczer 1. Not too surprising people had enough issues with this to warrant it's cancellation! Not only is it pretty short and uneventful, but it also focuses less on the original cast of the anime, who fans would obviously be hoping to see reading this! |
