| Season 2's op is really good and really unique, last time I saw something like it was Kakegurui Season 2's Opening, but it crams so much detail into it that it hints at the entire season with only a few vague spoilers that anime onlys can pick up and only if they paid enough attention. I prefer the song and I know there are a lot of people who dislike it, but I want to remind people the song isn't everything, neither is sakuga. The first opening spoiled nothing because it pretty much said nothing. You may like the sakuga and song more but you've got to at least acknowledge the flaws of it, random black screens that break up the flow, barely any flow to begin with as it's just random shots of Bam doing Bam things |

| I could not stand the song of the first one. Appreciate that the artist did three different versions of the song to fit the audio of the show, whether it was in Japanese, English or Korean (did the same thing for the ending if I recall correctly), but all versions sounded awful to me. And yeah, season 1 had some decent looking shows of Bam but felt very disjointed and hard to get into as a whole and the black credit screens did not help with that, although there were also one or two shots of black screens with no credits whatsoever for no reason. Season 2 might look a lot more limited in the animation department and hasn't got the best flow itself but at least it uses the opening to show off its large cast, have some personality in there and be a bit experimental without feeling as disjointed as the first one. Song is very meh and forgettable with no real punch whatsoever with the chorus, but I'll take it over Stray Kids. |
