Art style change makes it more generic, what should make it easier to animate, but for some reason we got these amazing still images with moving camera. Ep1 had less animation than Stark putting on his jacket. Direction sucks for each element. Scenes are played one after another without something to glue them together. Khun had more character showing in ep2 of S1 than any character in the last 3 episodes. Music is still great(thanks Kevin), but sound director likes "randomize" button.

Look how they massacred it... It's painful to watch. Criminally bad. Disrespecting the source material like this is a disgrace, utterly ruined.

People should be granted the power to vote and be able to fire the studio and put anime projects back into "work in progress" state, waiting for a better studio, etc.

Dunno how the author allows this tbh. Art vandalism.

Man, don't get me wrong, I love Tower of God and I wanted at least a decent adaptation but you can't tell me last episode wasn't dogshit, I mean when dude pierced the lady's hand with his spear it was so awkward and they didn't even show anything after that; it was almost comical how poorly done it was. I just wanted at least a serviceable show but I'll be damned if we get a s3 after this dumpster fire.

@StateofOhayo There's still second cour, the Workshop Arc adaptation. It's action packed. My optimistic ass wants to believe they are giving most of thier attention to that and neglecting this one. Don't bully me. I'm high on copium.

@meyve yeah, i'll hope for the best, i really do want them to pick it up a bit and I hope they do. It just feels so awkward right now like I get so excited for a new episode just to be disappointed like binging at taco bell.

@StateofOhayo Same. Animation quality was better in first season but I still love this one more. The opening and ending felt like the staff actually loves and cares about ToG. Even people calls them bad and cheap I adore them. That's why I want this adaptation to success. Still this is a brand new studio and it's their first anime. I hope this is the worst episode out of all or else we are doomed.

After the most recent episode (3), there's definitely issues with pacing, timing, and animation quality. Attacks are wishy-washy with no real impactful feel to them. Things are just happening without any eventful build up to them. It's a bit of a disappointment tbh.

season 1 has better lightings and atmosphere. even on dark place I can see Bam and Endorsi clearly because their skin glow and bright,

but why season 2 their skin are dull and didn't produce light like season 1. Character skin are hard to see when they on dark room because their skin didn't has much light like season 1.

This anime should teach everyone in the industry how not to make an anime, butchering a fantastic work like Tog like this is worthy of jail
