| That’s a wrap for season 2! Serena will be on hiatus indefinitely. This season ended on quite a fee cliffhangers. I really appreciate the author’s notes at the end of each chapter, especially for this one! I am excited to see what will happen next. I think the divorce papers won’t be of too much concern. I predict that it’ll be an interesting plot device but it will definitely not be the biggest obstacle Serena has to face. For her, it’ll be Frederick. I’m curious to know what the object is that Frederick had to find for ‘X’ - who we now know as Diah. Also, it explains why Diah was so updated by everything going on in Serena’s personal life, because Frederick was reporting to her. Author Ina says to re-read the story from the prologue to recap ourselves on the plot, and to view the story from a different perspective now by picking up on things we readers probably didn’t pick up on the first time round. There’s a lot of foreshadowing, supposedly. I will definitely have a re-read at some point. Once again, crazy how it started off with a very different tone, but has developed into a fantastic story, much bigger than what it seemed like initially. I’m really happy to have stayed around and hope that others do too! Looking forward to season 3! |
