In the 6's is where it deserves to be (should be lower than that even...like 5's or 4's....even lower?).

I'm thinking about @ing all the people that gaslit us during the first few episodes saying we were being negative, too critical, overreacting...

I'm glad I stopped watching too. Although, I'm not sure I'll read the manhwa. In case them making such a bad anime season is a scheme to make you want to read the manhwa, I DON'T want to reward that tactic.

The first season was such a beautiful piece of art. This season is egregious. It's disrespectful to the very concept of art. It's disgusting. Evil. Should have never aired. And part of what makes it so bad is how it is so shit compared to the first season. If the first season was of the same quality then there would be less complaints. Of course, if the first season was as bad then there wouldn't have ever been a second season.

Is this actually a two cour season? Lol.

Dude, relax. It's actually the hard work of some people but yes, as much as I hate to admit it, this season is just terrible. And tbh, I am only watching it cause of the story. I'll just have to push myself to watch the second cour as well.
And it's best you read the manhwa. It's nigh peak fr.

should've been in the 4s

but seeing how the past few seasons of anime like CoTE and Date a Live is rated so high despite the butchering it makes sense

@Ronninn Yeah, there might be a bias that prevents shows from getting scores they ought to have. Bias like the idea that people who vote are the ones most likely to watch the show and those likely to watch are more likely to vote positively? Or maybe people are more generous with scoring in general?

@CheliosX Part of me doesn't want the director and others that worked on this show to be depressed reading such things online. But then also I really think they should have it be known to them that their work is shit. So that they can grow and get better. Or so that the people that hired them can stop hiring them and so we can get better quality work in the future.

I mean, darn. It is amateur hour with how they did this. There's no heart or soul in this at all. It's a display of such incompetence.

MAYBE you could blame a rushed schedule. Maybe I could give them the benefit of that excuse.

I bet the manhwa is really good. I even read the first few pages of the first chapter and was immediately impressed. But what if they purposefully did a "phone it in" type of job on this anime just to increase sells for the manhwa/webtoon? I don't want to be manipulated that way.

Mhmm, I dig. Just think of it as wanting to read the manhwa because you do not like the second season and want to enjoy the source material itself.
It's not a problem.
S2 is mid. It's ruined.

Yeah... No, even if someone really, I mean REALLY hated it, could give it a 6, but objectively this is still better than some awful shows.
