| Do we know yet how many episodes this season is getting? Will it be ending soon or is it going to be a two cour? I'm surprised to see the count listed as /? still this late into the season. Kitsu lists 13 episodes but I tend to consider Kitsu slower to get info (have often made new DB entry requests there where I'm just pasting in stuff from a MAL page that already exists) and to be less reliable than MAL, so I'm skeptical of that being actually confirmed. 13 episodes is a weird number for them to guess at, though, since 12 is more common, so maybe they did hear it somewhere. That or it's just based on the first season being 13 episodes. I understand it's possible that no one knows for sure yet, but at least someone could reply to this later once it's confirmed, so making the thread anyway. |

| This will probably be split into two entries. There is a reason: the anime is continuing in the fall season with a NEW title called Kami no Tou: Koubou-sen (Tower of God: Workshop Battle). Here is a MAL Guideline rule: II.3.2 If there is no gap between seasons, but the continuation of the series is indicated as a separate season with a new title, it will get a second entry. There are cases like this (e.g. Shikabane Hime, Puu-Neko, Shinobanai! Crypto Ninja Sakuya). Also some evidence: https://cal.syoboi.jp/tid/7133/time - The website indicates the 13th episode is the last one (Return of the Prince) https://tog-anime.com/news/index00290000.html (this is the official website of the anime) - Roughly says: Broadcast begins on October 6th, following "Return of the Prince"! This is just my speculation, but the split probably will be the case. |
