Another great episode, Hubert got caught and burned alive for his research, RIP I guess... and he asked for his research to be burned sadly, it's hard to watch the anime nowadays and know that he was right. Now Rafal wants to study astronomy instead of theology but got forced to back down, also that Nowak man is a total psychopath, wow.

Second episode in an am already disappointed. I knew the only reason for him to be wasting paper with his super heretical doodle is so it would be caught. I thought it was going to be the teacher that finds it... But why is this inquisitor going through random children's books? Has he gone through his books before?! It seems like it just moved him there cause the stakes wouldn't be immediately raised if he wasn't there... The same reason He wasn't there the day before to stop the known heretic from hanging out with a student.

Just from how it handled getting Nowak involved, I can already see he is basically going to be teleported around to where ever it's the least convenient for the protagonist. It throws me out of immersion cause it is just sloppy writing.

I'll give it a few more episodes because everyone has been telling me how good the writing is. I was expecting something like Frieren or atleast Baccano. I'm not upset, just abit let down.
