Hentai and drawn pornography will always be the most ethical form of it, and does allow for people to engage in activities that have a taboo vibe with literally no harm (literally almost all kink is based on something taboo). Even user made porn, can still impact an actual real life person psychologically (the need to keep their body hot for money), whereas this is all in a vacuum of the creator's imagination.

That “doom causing columbine” thing is insane comparing that to this, this is completely different. This is a show to promote rape culture. Doom was not glorifying shooting schools. This show is glorifying rape. There’s no jumping here, it’s just straight what the thing portrays.

A ton of woman made, and intended erotica, features creepy male characters that are controlling too. Are those works "promoting rape culture"? Do women want to be raped, if we go off the fact 62% of women have had a rape fantasy? It's erotica, it's fantasy, it often will not reflect our real desires.

The reason this media is controversial at all, is because it's consumers realize it's taboo, that it's fucked up. Most people who do any kink or BDSM stuff realize what they are often doing, if taken for real is abuse, or something else also not ethically good. It's not real though.

Also it's not the same, as I think there is at least a real issue of moral harm, depending on where the artists are getting their inspiration. That isn't the case for simply writing and drawing a forced rape scene, which is hardly no different than directing some CNC play. The only actual moral harm, one could argue, is if you put a scene in your series, without content warnings. Everyone knows what Redo is, I mean I do and I haven't even watched it (which also is questionable why you even bothered watching this show lol)

And yeah, hentai, is more ethical. Even supposedly legal "ethical methods" of the sex industry, like legalized prostitution are full of abuse. I literally don't see how you couldn't argue drawn pornography isn't the safest sex industry by far, period out there.
