I'm not sure how relevant this is anymore, but my advice would be to choose something else if you're looking to watch something for the experience associated with horror films. I'm not trying to discourage you from watching it—it's just that this anime, in my opinion, requires a more serious mindset. It’s like sitting down to watch "Black Swan" or "Requiem for a Dream" for the same purpose.
