I feel like something's off with the romance in this show. It seems to me that the two leads are spending more time APART from each other than TOGETHER. It's either they're hanging out with other characters or spending time alone doing some self-introspection that goes on for way too long. It's getting a bit weird.

It's fine dude. it's not like the story is ending in 12 episodes, even if the anime doesn't get a 2nd season.

It's a long read ahead. It has a good romance, slightly weird developments because of their family situations but they eventually do build a strong like for each other.

Of course, they are going to be apart. Even if they were together, I don't think they would figure out exactly how they feel. They're going from something that was fake to get out of a transfer into something they thought wasn't possible in their life. So getting different views from different people is important even if they have to keep what they are doing for the moment a secret. When Takuya told Rika, "I want you to be my girlfriend," it just made everything even more awkward. This is what I think what the next episode is going to be.

i read manga somewhat, and it felt totally st*pid. they had kiss and still decided not to date something like that imo not worth giving time. it try to interpret adult romance but way far from something real or anything.

Of course we need abit of time to understand their characters as why they would finally want to marry for real.
