After two episodes, we can safely surmise that a) The two goddesses are just trolling cunts who enjoy torturing humans like the MC from the day they are born and b) Appraise is indeed the most worthless skill, unless you get a hot tree girl to give you a wooden eye or some stupid shit like that.

I cannot stress this enough. Appraise has to be THE lamest skill ever to be chosen to make an anime out of, so I expect nothing but mediocrity from the writer as the show progresses, if the best he could come up with was fucking appraise skill for his MC.

So that's the whole show about, and it would be hilarious if the MC ends up ever thanking the fucking goddesses in the future. It'll be same level of stupid as people praising gods for doctors saving their lives in the real world.

I'll watch some more and make up my mind.

Yuri is such a giving world tree! She really hooked Ein up with that world tree eye, sword, and healing droplets. Ursula training him quickly jumped him up from zero to hero as well.

His super appraisal allowing him to steal skills has made him worthy of OP status!

Let me briefly summarize the two episodes.

This anime tries to be serious and dramatic. In reality, however, it's a very strange fantasy RPG. It has all the worst elements. The main character is worthless. Everyone around him, except for a couple of his benefactors, is an outright evil bastards. The main character survives and gains power for no apparent reason. The wooden girl healed him, gotten wet, then ran off — that was enough for her. Of course, the lad acquired a new op skill. This skill is like an appraiser, but in reality it's stealing or copying a skill. It involves accelerated thinking and movement, foresight and vision in the dark, and many other abilities. The author is also a bit dumb. The imp copies the skill from the corpse. To copy the mage's skill, he gets a blast of fire in the face and copies it on the fly during use. Human arms and legs, of course, can't withstand the overload caused by the imp's skill, which is designed for a much stronger body. Typical RPG/game logic. A new icon has appeared with dexterity requirements. We upgrade dexterity to meet the minimum requirements. The skill becomes applicable. The same goes for magic levelling.

But the worst thing is that the tree girl and her mother just infodumping on him, treat him, train him. For free. They made a conclusion about him based on one thank you. After his second resurrection, the man replied, 'Well, thanks.' They brought him back to life, yet he just sits there like a bump on a log. He cheered up when he heard that he could leave. Idiocy.
Her mother says that the others went to break branches and tear leaves from the tree. I can see that. A complex dungeon with a room flooded with light and waterfalls containing a tree. I'll go and break some branches. Seriously. A tree underground on a floating platform with a spirit wandering nearby and an annoying guard. And they still decided to break branches and leaves? Seriously? This goes on the list of cartoonish villains alongside the party members of main character from the first episode.
This anime is on a low ebb; the guy with the fruit is even worse, but this one isn't far behind. I'll try watching another episode to confirm my opinion. Otherwise, it's rubbish.

@1List2RuleThemAl Transcendence. In Konosuba, a SoL comedy, the characters are much better developed. This is also the case in Fran's Reincarnated as a Sword. In The Unwanted Undead Adventurer, the characters exist and develop. But in this anime, we are given a finished product. These are the villains; this guy is great. I don't want to eat pre-chewed food. I'm not an imbecile; I can chew for myself.
