| I'm kinda surprised with the manhwa ending and LN ending..kinda disappointed in the open ending or more so lack of in a way due to the existence of the LN chapter. I liked the manhwa a lot, at times it would be too confusing to keep up with the continuation of the chapters but I personally wasn't happy with the ending but I would still give it an 8/10 cause I don't want to disregard everything else [Otherwise it would be a 7] |
| I wasn’t really here for the ships—I just loved the tragedy of the MC and how he deals with his foes. That said, I found it foul how the author left the ending open. I heard that the light novel didn’t focus on Romantica as much as the manga did and that Desir accepted Adjest’s feelings; I would have preferred that than the open ending, but its debatable. I would have also been fine if he had rejected them both out of guilt, as he was explaining in the chapter. Overall, I loved the story and the characters. It’s tragic that it ended on a cliffhanger, but at least we got to see Desir’s ideals come to fruition. I give it an 8.5/10. |
