A two on two matches with Kei's parents involved....ugh. This anime loves to torture and test Kei at any chance it gets.

The only thing that keeps him going is to play through the game. It's his role to.

Kei family and friends gets involved as chips by another psych who's out looking for thrill, great, Kei never have enough of people like them.

The order which Kei places everyone gives me an idea of there worth in his life. And it looks like soon we'll learn what happened to Kei's younger brother as well, I do wonder for what reason his parents had to kill him brother.

I have horrible memory... Can you tell me which first episode mentioned that Kei had younger brother or that parent killed him. I don't even remember any of that.

That visual change in the opening was a surprise, never noticed the foreshadowing of Doujima's blindness and i love what they did with the new antagonist at the end, overall this arc's stake seems pretty high and the adversaries seems pretty vicious, while i don't care about K's childhood friend and the other i atleast hope K's parents will be freed, they have no link to this world and it's fucked up to use family for these things.

@thepath In episode 11, after Kei had defeated Ai that's when he tells her.

Ai reveals about her past, about how her father used to abuse her. Then she what gives him strength and in his reply this past of his revealed.

I can't remember correctly either but there's one other time when Kei himself tells to the yakuza boss Noriyuki, tho I don't remember when that happens.

Very interesting that K opted to put Yu last. I thought he all but threw her away after the match she was forced into. Guess not.

Lol they really wanted to show what a high stake game is... so if Kei lose points they basically hang his parents and friends, damn.

I wish they'd stop introducting characters whose sole personality trait is being annoying the entire episode. The dude was literally breathing down Kei's neck and backseating the whole time and talking smack even though he's not doing anything. He even potentially gave the opponent reads with his reactions. There's no way the writers didn't knowingly make him as annoying as possible and I have no idea why. It just brought down the enjoyment of the whole episode. Ugh

The OP visuals briefly change for the final arc, as Kei goes against Seki and Hatori for Amina's safety...plus his own parents and Yu together for a deathmatch, to retrieve the covered roster.

Though removing the nuisance that is Ootsuji's killer, Kei can play to his strengths alongside Takatsu to lay off Seki and Hatori, even if the winnings are miniscule. But as the games progress, Hatori has a sure-fire plan that'll ensure everyone's kill.

Kei better play this game carefully...

Not much set-up for this episode. They just get right into it! There's definitely going to be some mind games and I expect the tension to keep building.
