So, how are they able to afford such high-quality matching outfits? Since they don't seem to rip at all during those fights, it must cost a lot of Yen.

Exactly! Like, of course the story isn't wow, but the characters interactions and, especially, the fights are enjoyable. So it's nice enough, right? (well IMO at least hahah, what is yours?)

We can't focus on that because I really enjoy watching this anime Character development and fights and animation of the season 2 is really remarkable

yeah yeah, i also like some of the characters designs, but i agree, it's mostly meh rather than anything
