Difference between num_list_users and num_users_total fields.

This might be a dumb question, but as far I could understand, the field num_users_total it's the sum of all users status, with Sousou no Frieren as example (the moment I write this post):

Watching: 218,686 +
Completed: 666,830 +
On-Hold: 21,541 +
Dropped: 14,385 +
Plan to Watch: 187,791 =
Total: 1,109,233

But there's a field named num_list_users I didn't find yet what this number is describing and it has a slightly difference between this field and "total".
