| This series does a horrible job of portraying the sport of football (soccer). The strategy Kosie used worked when the star was not on the field and completely failed when he stepped on the pitch. If Haitani hadn't joined the team they'd be completely sunk at this point. The fact that only star players can do anything and there is little to no strategy on display is another example of the poor writing on display. Add to that, there are no real rivalries or character interaction, which make the series even worse. |

| ART THIS CHAPTER WAS RAW AND TOUGH AS FUCK!!! The close ups on Haitani and Co. especially when they realize they're in deep shit had me ogling like there was no tomorrow. Really liking the build up, and realization that rubix cube guy walks the walk. Loving this story so far, fingers crossed it stays around for a long time! |
| Man, I really don’t like how scoring a goal feels so easy. And I also don’t like how it feels like Nerima is the only player on the opposing team. It’s making soccer feel like a one-on-one sport, and it isn’t! Why not make a manga off of tennis or something at this point. But I digress. I have to appreciate this manga for its art, because imo it’s never failed to capture the intensity of the moment. Also, Nerima catching up to Takami that easily made for a good twist given that he’s been hyped up to be the fastest since his intro. Honestly, for how much flak I gave him, I must say that Nerima shattering all of the plans and countermeasures made against him was entertaining. He truly is beyond what anyone could have anticipated. |

| @logic340 Yeah, some of those issue can be blamed on obvius "axe disease" but still Noboru and Yuuga rivalry went nowhere after like first 2-3 chapters and in this chapter we don't even know who cube guy (10) replaced, it wasn't even mentioned. Also this chapter reminded me how MC in Blue Lock was recruiting players to his team, like one was "fast", other "strong" etc, not all above. |
